TESSELLATED BOARD
TESSELLATED BOARD FEATURES
-
Superior Structure
Tessellated Board has structural support on every axis. View
-
4 PLY STRUCTURE
The form's Major ECT is created with 4 ply of material, creating an extremely strong and light support structure. View
-
Dual Edge Crush Tests
Tessellated Board has two ECTs, both of which can vary in dimension to allow the material to take on
a wide range of structural performance and load bearing characteristics. View
-
-
Variable Height
The Tessellated pattern allows the material to be created in any height with 3-ply of material (linerboard + medium + linerboard). The material increases in strength
with scale and uses less material than traditional multi-ply courrugated containerboard methods. View
-
Single Face Construction
Tessellated Board can be produced as an open-faced material (without a top linerboard) for light load applications and increased resource savings.
View
-
Thermal Capabilities
The Tessellated pattern creates air pockets that seal air, acting as insulation for temperature sensitive contents, both warm and cool. View
-
-
Visual and Tactile
Regardless of whether the Tessellated Board container is open or sealed, the unique pattern is visibly and tactilely distinct and recognizable. View
-
Adhesive Platform
The resulting grid created by the Tessellated pattern provides a superior foundation for mounting and printing linerboard. View
-
Box Manufacturer’s’ Certificate
Tessellated Board has a custom BMC that labels the structural characteristics of both ECTs on each axis. View
-
-
Material Warp Reduction
Tessellated structure inhibits warping during manufacture as courrugated board is commonly prone to do. View
-
Paper Reduction
Tessellated Board saves paper resources by requiring less paper to create stronger
and more efficient forms. While the form requires more linear material,
the support strength of the form allows for thinner liner. View
-
Process Energy Reduction
Manufacturing Tessellated Board requires significantly less energy and resources than existing courrugator systems.
Tessellated Board is manufactured with a proprietary cold process, eliminating the need for steam, water and
wastewater management systems. Tessellators do not require hot adhesive or drying heat. View
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
All technology utilized in the manufacture process of Tessellated Board adheres to current environmental standards.
